How do I highlight high-priority deals in the Kanban board?

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Context

When viewing deals in Kanban mode, you may want to visually distinguish certain deals, such as high-value opportunities or deals most likely to close, so your team knows to prioritize attention on them.

Answer

While color-coding deals directly in the Kanban view is not currently available, you can achieve a similar outcome using the Forecast Category field and saved filtered views. Here's how:

  1. Open a deal you want to highlight and set its Forecast Category to Committed (or another category that represents high-priority deals for your team).

  2. In the deals view, apply a filter where Forecast Category = Committed.

  3. Save this as a filtered view and name it something like "Committed Deals", so you and your team can quickly access it at any time.

This allows your team to instantly focus on the deals that need the most attention without having to manually scan the full pipeline.

Additionally, if all your deals are currently showing Priority: Medium, updating the Forecast Category is a practical way to differentiate deal urgency until more granular priority or color-coding options become available.
